Cleaning up after another snow storm

SYRACUSE -- Another snow storm has rolled through Central New York -- and now it's time to clean it all up.

For Robert Meade, who lives in Syracuse, it means powering up the snow blower and going to work.

"(This is) easy, this is relatively compact," Meade said.  "Even though it's not the light puffy stuff from lake effect, it goes fine...no problem at all."

Meade said he doesn't mind the snow all that much -- saying if nothing else, it makes him get outside to exercise.  The snow is also an opportunity for youngsters to make some extra cash during their school break.  That's exactly what Myquis Thomas and Zachary Cartwright were doing during Henninger High School's February vacation.

"It's alright, but it's pretty cold out here," Thomas said.  "The snow is deep, the weather's bad."

The weather was tough on drivers, too.  Heavy snowfall during the morning commute made for slick road conditions, with many counties in our viewing area issuing travel advisories while crews plowed streets.

"I'd rather be driving without the slush on the roads," said Deanna Bonferraro.  "It's been a long winter and I'm ready for Spring."

Meanwhile, Robert Meade will be keeping his snow blower handy, because there's a good chance this isn't the last time we'll see snow this season.
