TRENTON -- State Police say bad weather contributed to a deadly car crash in Oneida County.
Investigators say 17-year-old Jarrod Stanek, of Barneveld, was driving on Powell Road in Trenton when he lost control on the slippery road.
Stanek hit another car driven by 70-year-old William Wooler, of Sylvan Beach. Wooler was killed. Both his passenger, 66-year-old Carol Jenkins, and Stanek, had minor injuries.
Police are still investigating and say tickets are pending.
