The Onondaga County 911 Center has issued a travel advisory to all motorists in the area.

The center is advising travelers to use extreme caution on area roadways and to not travel unnecessarily.

The snowy weather in the area has also caused some Sunday activities to be cancelled or postponed.

- The Baldwinsville School District's Phone-A-Thon for the Community Scholarship foundation is postponed until next Sunday (3/13).

- The Liverpool and North Syracuse School Districts' Dollars for Scholars Phone-A-Thons have been cancelled.

- The Weedsport First Baptist Church Hymn-fest has been cancelled.

- The Holy Temple Church in Syracuse has cancelled evening services.
