SCRIBA, OSWEGO CO. -- A Parish man is accused of raping a child.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies arrested 39-year-old David Davis Jr. of U.S. Route 11 Bldg. 588 Apt. 12, on two counts of rape, a felony. They say he had sexual intercourse with a child younger than 15-years-old.

Deputies say it happened during May and July of 2008.

Davis was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and sent to the Oswego County Jail where he is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Mexico Court on March 15th.
