Vera House, which works to end domestic and sexual violence, is partnering with a Cicero church to expand its outreach in the Northern suburbs.

Colleen O'Brien, Program Services Coordinator with Vera House, says the once a month educational events at Faith Lutheran Church are aimed a women interested in learning more about healthy relationships.  She emphasizes that the workshops are for more than people involved in abusive or violent situations, and will also offer an overview of programs to help women lead self-sufficient lives.
