LIVERPOOL -- A Liverpool man pleads not guilty to his role in a deadly drunk driving crash.

Michael Iannettoni, 58, appeared in Onondaga County Court for arraignment Friday morning. The judge entered a 'not guilty' plea on his behalf.

Sheriff's deputies say Iannettoni was drunk when crashed head-on with another car on Buckley Road in January, killing 82-year-old Vincent Russo.

Russo's family issued this statement Friday saying, “All of us will be following this court case very, very closely as it develops and is hopefully brought to a fair and just resolution.”

Iannettoni is charged with manslaughter, aggravated vehicular homicide and drunk driving. He is being held in jail without bail.
