SYRACUSE -- The first intermission at Thursday night's crunch game was an inspiration for all of those in attendance.

A special six year old from Weedsport took to the ice and had no idea what was about to happen. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York told him he's getting his wish - a trip to Disney World.

Michael McBride is undergoing kidney cancer treatment. He nearly beat it last year, but had a relapse during which it spread to his lungs and stomach. Michael is taking his cancer treatments at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and his family says his next scan comes at the end of this month - they are praying for good news.
