UTICA -- A Utica man was arrested Thursday after police say he exposed himself in a drug store.
According to Utica Police, officers were called to the Rite Aid on Genesee Street around 4:30 p.m. for a report of a person refusing to leave the store. Police say store security told them that a man identified as Mathew Karriem was in the store and began to argue with a clerk. When asked to leave the premises, Karriem began to throw items around the store, and as he left he pulled his pants down and exposed himself to employees and customers.
Karriem was later located by police officers on Genesee Street, near Hobart Street. He was arrested and charged with exposure of a person, a misdemeanor.
