Sixth annual benefit provides family fun

The face-off is for bragging rights, but Rockin' the Red Cross also raises money for emergency and disaster relief programs in Onondaga and Oswego Counties.  Mike Featherstone, with the CXTec Dinosaurs, says company house bands are all friends, but it's competitive too, with winners getting extra appearances at big area events, and more.  His group has won several years, though they were nosed out by Lockheed-Martin last year.
This year, the night of music, food, raffles and family fun will be at Onondaga County's War Memorial, because the Landmark Theatre is under renovation.  Thirteen bands, plus the Junior Faction, winner of Junior Palooza, will be performing--with all styles of music.   Tickets are available at the door, Friday April 29.  The show starts at 6:30pm
