DEWITT -- A Fulton man is in critical, but stable condition following an early morning motorcycle crash.

DeWitt police say 53-year-old Douglas Fischel lost control around 5:55 a.m. on the Route 481 southbound off-ramp to Kirkville Road.

Fishel suffered a broken shoulder, broken ribs and a head injury.

DeWitt police say unsafe speed was a contributing factor.
