GRANBY, OSWEGO CO. -- A Fulton teenager has been upgraded to serious condition after a head-on crash in Granby Tuesday evening.
According to State Police, investigators are looking into a two-vehicle crash which took place just after 7:00 p.m. on State Route 48. Police say a southbound black Kia driven by 19-year-old Esther Goodale of Fulton crossed the center line and struck a northbound Ford driven by 35-year-old Jennifer Mainville of Granby. Goodale was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition, which has since been upgraded to serious.
Mainville was taken by ambulance to the same hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say their investigation into the crash is continuing, but say there is no indication that alcohol played a factor. Anyone with any information on the case is asked to call State Police in Fulton at 315-593-6194.
