WEST MONROE, OSWEGO CO. -- Our black bear watch continues.

The latest sighting coming in West Monroe, just into Oswego County on the north shore of Oneida Lake.

This photo was taken by Wayne and Donna Mierke of Grannis Road.

The bear was caught in the act of taking down a bird feeder to eat the seed.

Among the warnings from the state DEC: take down any bird feeders, because the birds don't need them this time of year.
