JORDAN -- Voters who rejected school budgets in two area school districts will head back to the polls today.

In the Jordan-Elbridge school district, voters overwhelmingly rejected a budget proposal in May that included a 7.3% tax hike.

After making changes in the original budget, the school district came up with a revised spending plan that reduces the tax hike to 3.9%. Polls are open 7am-9pm at the high school.

In the North Syracuse district, the school board has already adopted a contingency budget after its budget was rejected by voters.

But today, the school district is asking voters to approve a 1.2 million dollar proposition to fund 12 new school buses. Polls are open from 9am-9pm at the district offices and Cicero elementary school.
