Another State University of New York (SUNY) school is agreeing to share services to help cut back on spending.

Wolf Yeigh is the current president of SUNY IT. He will now also serve as the president of Morrisville State College.

The deal must still be approved by the SUNY Board of Trustees.

On Monday, SUNY Canton and Potsdam State in St. Lawrence County also agreed to share one campus president.

The plan calls for combining administrative services at all 64 schools based on region and putting the money saved back towards education.

We have yet to hear about Oswego and ESF as a pair or who will lead them or Cortland/Oneonta and Upstate Hospital/Binghamton. Which president from which campus takes charge?

This budget saving measure is already receiving resistance from the North Country campuses. Will the lack of a president to an individual campus hurt the vision and identity of each college?
