Tombstones from 1800's damaged at Steuben cemetery

STEUBEN -- State Police are investigating vandalism at a Steuben cemetery.
Police say seven tombstones, all from the 1800's, were severely damaged at the Penn Mountain Cemetery.
It was reported Wednesday and is believed to have happened sometime over the last two weeks.
One of the tombstones dates back to 1815.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact Investigator Tracy Butler (315) 831-4177 or Trooper John Fitzgerald at SP Remsen (315) 831-4112.
