SCRIBA -- An Oswego County man is under arrest after police say he exchanged sexual favors with teens in return for alcohol and cigarettes.
According to Oswego Police, on Friday afternoon deputies arrested 21-year-old David S. Hunneyman of North Main Street in Central Square and charged him with one count of felony sexual abuse, two counts of felony criminal sex act, five counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of misdemeanor unlawfully dealing with a child. Hunneyman is accused of giving cigarettes and “Four Loko” caffeinated alcoholic beverages to minors under the age of 17 in exchange for sexual favors from the victims. Police also allege that on one occasion he performed a sex act on a victim while the others watched.
Hunneyman was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Town of West Monroe Court on Monday.
If convicted, what do you think the punishment should be for these charges? Should there be tighter restrictions on "Four Loko", which has already been banned in New York State? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think.
