HASTINGS, OSWEGO CO. -- Oswego County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a deadly collision involving a motorcycle.

It happened around 5:38 p.m. Tuesday on County Route 5 at the intersection of Wilson Road in the Town of Hastings.

Deputies say the driver of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee was traveling east on CR 4 when they tried turning left onto Wilson Road and right into the path of a Honda motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, who has not been identified, was ejected from the bike and killed. He was wearing a helmet. The driver of the Jeep was not hurt.

So far, no tickets have been issued.
