LIVERPOOL -- Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a robbery that happened at an ATM in Liverpool Saturday afternoon.

According to deputies, just after 3 pm, a 24-year-old woman went to the ATM area of the M&T Bank on Oswego Road. After she got money out of the ATM, deputies say a man came up from behind and put a knife to her throat and demanded she give him the money.

Deputies say the suspect took the woman's keys and cell phone and drove her to the Bank of America Bank, also on Oswego Road. After the woman took out money from the drive-through ATM, the suspect drove her back to M&T bank. That's when the suspect got out of the car and told the woman to drive away.

The suspect is described as a black male that appears to be in his 40's. He is approximately six-feet tall and has a goatee. He was wearing a grey or white t-shirt, camo style pants, tan Timberland work boots and a dark blue New York Yankee ball hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's department at (315) 425-2111.
