VIRGIL, CORTLAND COUNTY -- One person is dead in Cortland County following a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning.

Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies said it happened around 6:46 am on Page Green Road in the town of Virgil.

Deputies told CNY Central 42-year-old Dale Morgan, of Preble, lost control in a construction zone, driving off the road over an embankment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
