Hopes to get back on track by afternoon

Amtrak has cancelled its Sunday morning trains through Syracuse--actually between Niagara Falls and Albany-Rensselaer--because of downed power lines in Amsterdam, just east of Albany.
They hope to get service back later this afternoon, however if you're planning on traveling by train you should check ahead with Amtrak.  You can also call 800-USA RAIL for the latest scheduling information.
