'Syracuse Style' is a fall fashion event that will include a big, free outdoor fashion show in Armory Square.

Designer Lisa Butler says the catwalk will be set up on Walton Street, between Blue Tusk and Empire Brewing (inside the Landmark if it's raining)---to show off what retailers are selling and original designs being created here.  Some 17 companies will be part of it---they hope people will come to see that there are more than bars and restaurants in downtown Syracuse.

Syracuse Style is set for Thursday evening, with a pre-party at Blue Tusk, the fashion show at 7 (first come-first served seating) and a post-show party at Empire Brewing.
