EARLVILLE -- An Earlville man will spend the next six months in jail for having sexual contact with a young girl.

26-year-old Richard Zdanowicz, of 8 West Main Street, was sentenced for having sexual contact with the girl under the age of 15 between December 2010 and January 2011 in the Village of Earlville.

He pleaded guilty in June to attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor, a felony.

Zdanowicz will spend 6 months in jail followed by 10 years on probation and a fine of $1,425. He will also have to register as a sex offender.

An order of protection was issued for the victim.
