A Fort Drum soldier has died from his wounds he suffered in Afghanistan.

32-year old First Sgt. Billy Siercks died in Germany Wednesday. He was taken there after insurgents attacked his unit the day before in Afghanistan. Siercks was originally from Velda Village, Missouri.
