OSWEGO -- Authorities in Oswego County are investigating an accident involving a car and a bicycle.

It happened shortly after 11:00 a.m. Thursday on County Route 20 in the Town of Oswego. According to investigators, a 2005 Ford Focus was heading eastbound on County Route 20, near Rathburn Road, when it smashed into a male riding his bike.

The victim was transported by helicopter to Upstate University Hospital. So far, police are not identifying the man.
