Seneca Falls man urinates in jail cell

SENECA FALLS, SENECA COUNTY -- A Seneca Falls man urinated in a holding sell after being arrested for yelling profanity in public area and failing to comply with officers.

Jonathan T. Carnicelli, 25, was arrested early Saturday morning after the Seneca Falls Police Department responded to a disturbance at Bulls Run.

Police say Carnicelli was warned numerous times to stop yelling profanity in public area. Carnicelli failed to comply with the officers.

Police say that when they tried to arrest Carnicelli he fought back at them. After Carnicelli was arrested, he was taken to the police department where he allegedly continued to be hostile and unruly.

According to police, Carnicelli urinated and spit all over the walls and floors of the holding cell where he had been placed.

Carnicelli was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief.

He was arraigned at the Town of Seneca Falls Court committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Carnicelli is expected to appear back in court on October 26.
