SYRACUSE -- Today is your last chance to stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables at the Downtown Syracuse Farmers' Market.

The market, located in Clinton Square, saw strong attendance this year, officials said.

Some 45 vendors participated this year, including some who have been there for years and several new faces, selling cheese, baked goods and organic vegetables.

You'll be able to pick up great fall goodies today including apples, squash and pumpkins.

"Although the 2011 Downtown Farmers' Market season is winding down, downtown Syracuse employees, residents and visitors can still get fresh, healthy and delicious food from local farms and growers for a few more weeks," said Chuck McFadden, market director.

The market will be open until 4 p.m.
