ONEIDA -- Two people are facing felony drug charges in Oneida following an investigation into illegal drugs.
The arrests stem from an early morning search warrant served by Oneida City police at a home at 240 Belmont Avenue.
Around 7:30 a.m., police say they seized a quantity of cocaine valued at approximately $2,000 along with a firearm, about $767 in cash, scales, several cell phones and a laptop computer.
19-year-old Alyssa Henderson of 23-year-old Joseph Parker Jr. are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Henderson is also charged with tampering with physical evidence for allegedly trying to conceal evidence.
Henderson and Parker Jr. were arraigned on the charges and sent to the Madison County Jail. Henderson's bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. Parker Jr.'s bail was set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
They are scheduled to re-appear in Oneida City Court on October 20.
