SYRACUSE -- Two SUNY-ESF students are facing drug charges after police say they had a "supermarket of narcotics."

Officers had been getting complaints about possible drug activity in the Westcott neighborhood. Tuesday night, they searched a home at 822 Westcott Street. Sgt. Tom Connellan says investigators found at least a pound of marijuana, powdered cocaine, crack cocaine, LSD, and mushrooms. Investigators believe the students were "catering to the Syracuse University and ESF population."

In the search, police also found a shotgun and $6,000 in cash.

Two people who live at the house were arrested. Matthew Cleere, 21, is facing several charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and criminal possession of marijuana. He was sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $5,000 bail. Clayton Ruggles, 27, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He is scheduled to be arraigned on November 22nd.

Police say the investigation is active and ongoing.
