SKANEATELES -- The Skaneateles School Board will meet tonight and discuss the resignation of head football coach Tim Green.

Green stepped down earlier this month amid allegations that he and other coaches tried to illegally recruit players from other schools.

Section III suspended the team, and the players were unable to finish their undefeated season. There were no ineligible players on the team.

Skaneateles was supposed to play in the Section III Class C Championship game at the Carrier Dome, but Utica-Notre Dame took their place in the game against Herkimer.

The board of education meeting will be held at the district offices at 7 p.m. tonight.
