LYSANDER -- The Onondaga County Health Department has issued a boil water order after a water main break in Lysander.

The break happened Thursday morning on River Road. The water main break has been fixed, but the outage was long enough that the Health Department has issued a boil water order.

About 120 customers are impacted. The are all located on Timber Banks Parkway, Long Shadow Drive, Bramble Run, Summers Gate Drive, Forrester Watch Run, and Morning Mist Drive. People impacted by the order were given notices hand delivered by OCWA crews.

This same water main break forced Palmer Elementary to cancel parent-teacher meetings. Students were already on early dismissal.
