Syracuse's medical team is home from Nepal--check the video for a look at what they saw

The medical team that travelled halfway around the world is now back--and catching up---in Syracuse.  The Operation Walk group returned  from Nepal Friday night , after replacing 100 joints in four days.

The comments about Katmandu are a sobering look at how the Nepalese live:  no zoning or regulation of building, with impromptu construction projects, garbage and more everywhere.  Our people noticed the unregulated traffic, too and the pollution from car and truck engines.  The team gets high marks for this part of its mission, accomplished.

Our previous stories have more on Nepal, and information on the plans to offer free joint replacements here in Central New York, to financially needy.
