SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse Commissioner of Education is stepping down from the school board. The district says Monique Wright-Williams has submitted her resignation. She has served on the board for almost two years.
Wright-Williams was the chair of the Policy Committee and also served on the Curriculum and Budget and Finance committees.
The district says her resignation is effective immediately. CNY Central has called the district to find out why she is leaving her job, but officials have not returned our phone calls.
