HANNIBAL -- Oswego County Sheriff's deputies have released the name of the man who was killed in a fire in Hannibal Wednesday.

Investigators say 73-year-old Richard Sawyer could not get out of the home on Peat Bed Road in time. Two other people living inside did manage to escape.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is centered on a propane-fueled space heater in the back bedroom.
