SYRACUSE -- The over-the-air broadcast signal for WTVH CBS-5 is currently unavailable due to transmitter problems.

This outage will affect all over-the-air viewing of WTVH on digital channel 5.1, as well as viewers of DirectTV and Dish Network. Our engineers are currently working on the issue, and expect repairs to be completed Wednesday after a new part is ordered and shipped.

During the transmitter outage we have moved the WTVH broadcast signal to WSTM's digital channel 3.3. Our CNY Central news and weather channel will not be available in the interim.

Cable subscribers have not been affected by the outage.
