FORT DRUM (AP) -- Army officials at Fort Drum are telling their northern New York neighbors not to be alarmed if they see a helicopter with a big red cross on it starting Monday.

It's just the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade MEDEVAC unit performing training exercises.

Soldiers are practicing trips to medical facilities in case there is a training accident at Fort Drum.

The Army post in northern New York is home to the 10th Mountain Division.
