HOUNSFIELD, JEFFERSON COUNTY -- Sheriff's deputies in Jefferson County are trying to piece together a deadly car crash.

It happened around 6:15 Thursday night on State Route 180 in the town of Hounsfield, which is west of Watertown.

Deputies said Ann Goutremout, 42, of Cicero struck a man who was standing in the driving lane.

That man has been identified as Daniel Spencer, 68, from Dexter.

The investigation continues.
