ONONDAGA COMMUNITY COLLEGE -- The Central New York Community came together in an unprecedented way Thursday night to focus on a topic many find difficult to discuss.

Preventing child sexual abuse was the focus of a forum at Onondaga Community College, sponsored by the child advocates at The McMahon/Ryan Child Advocay Center.

The event was broadcast by several local media outlets including CNYCentral.

Those paritipating in the forum, in person and online saw a video produced by the New York State Division Of Criminal Justice featuring convicted pedophiles explaining how they targeted the children they abused.

The video is avaiable for download at the bottom of this webpage.

One of the men is a former coach who says he would never go after players.

He said on the video, "The players they had to have too much going for them to make the team, I would go for the wannabe's, those who were on the edge who wanted to be part of the action."
