DEXTER -- A Dexter man is accused of forcibly raping a 14-year-old girl.

45-year-old Alfred Heise, of 16417 Lee Road, is charged with rape, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.

State police say he forcibly raped the girl on two occasions in February and April of 2011.

When police went to arrest him, they say Heise took off into a heavily wooded area just north of Route 12 between Murrock Circle and Wayside Drive in the Town of Pamelia. He was eventually taken into custody.

Heise was arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and sent to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
