Deputies search for driver who hit pedestrian and took off in Verona

VERONA, ONEIDA CO. -- Oneida County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian and took off.

It happened around 4 a.m. on January 20 on Route 365 at the intersection of Route 31 in the Town of Verona.

Deputies are looking for a gray or silver vehicle, either a larger SUV or a pickup truck.

Investigators have not yet released the victim's name or condition.
