Syracuse University starting center Fab Melo will return to the basketball team Saturday versus St. John's in New York City.  The 7 footer has sat out the last three games where the highly ranked Orange went 2-1 including their first loss of the season.

The Athletics Department's Communications Office released the following information on Thursday morning, "Sophomore Fab Melo will return to the Syracuse University men's basketball playing roster beginning this Saturday on the road against St. John's in Madison Square Garden.  Given University policy and federal student privacy laws, we are not able to provide any other details about this matter."

Many college basketball analysts had been wondering whether the Jim Boeheim led team would be able to reach the Final Four or contend for a national title without the return of their big man.
