Walk aims to show 'the other half'

Chasz Parker, the Rescue Mission executive director, says the campaign raises money for ongoing services to the homeless, which include, besides shelter, counseling, feeding, job help and teaching independent living.
Utica held its walk on February 4th. Syracuse and Auburn's are set for February 11 at 9:15am, Auburn's starting and finishing at St. Mary's Church (15 Clark Street) and in Syracuse on the Rescue Mission campus, off Gifford Street. The Rescue Mission website has more information
