Syracuse teenager injured in shooting

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating a shooting that injured a teenager.
It happened just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday at South Avenue and West Bissell Street. Police say 15-year-old Shafa Moore, of Syracuse, was walking when he heard several gunshots and was hit in his left arm.
Moore was not able to give police a description of the suspect. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information should call Syracuse police at 442-5222.
