Suspects walk in with long gun, steal cash from Syracuse store

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating an armed robbery.

It happened around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at Maloney's Superette at 405 Stolp Avenue on the city's Southside.

Police say two men wearing black hooded sweatshirts walked into the store, one with a long gun. They say the men took an undisclosed amount of cash and took off on foot.

A customer inside the store at the time suffered a minor injury after falling to the ground during the incident.
