LIVERPOOL -- A Liverpool masseuse is accused of inappropriately touching a customer.
41-year-old Anthony Courcy, of 8266 Warble Way, is charged with criminal sex act and sex abuse. He was working as a licensed massage therapist at Utopia Hair Professionals at 7421 Oswego Road.
Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say Courcy inappropriately touched a female customer during an appointment in February. The 27-year-old woman says he repeatedly touched her genitals and subjected her to sexual contact during the massage.
Courcy has been a massage therapist since 2011.
He was arraigned in the Town of Clay Court and released after posting bail.
Detectives have contacted the New York State Education Department, who governs the licenses of massage therapist, and will forward case information to their Office of Professional Discipline for further review.
Detectives continue to investigate to determine whether there are any other victims. Anyone with information should contact the Sheriff's Abused Person's Unit at (315) 435-3092.
