HOUNSFIELD -- A Copenhagen man is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from a victim.

47-year-old Michael Hamilton, of 29311 CR-69, is charged with one count of third degree grand larceny, a felony.

State police say Hamilton stole approximately $40,000 from the victim. It allegedly happened between February 18 and February 24 in the Town of Hounsfield.

Hamilton was arraigned in the Town of Hounsfield Court and released on his own recognizance pending grand jury action.
