Many of those NCAA Tournament brackets are in shambles already. Friday lived up to the nickname of March Madness, with a night full of upsets.
For the frist time ever, two No. 15 seed teams beat a No. 2 seed in one day. First, Norfolk State held on for a victory over Missouri. Kyle O'Quinn finished with 26 points and 14 rebounds in the 86-84 victory. O'Quinn celebrated after the game shouting "We messed up some brackets! We messed up some brackets!"
Missouri attempted a last second three pointer, but it clanked off the rim. Missouri had been the Big 12 tournament champions, and had been a popular choice for the Final Four in many brackets.
After that game finished, Lehigh took on mighty Duke and become the sixth No. 15 seed to pull off the upset. C.J. McCollum scored 30 points for Lehigh on the way to a 75-70 win. Lehigh led for most of the game, drawing support from North Carolina fans who borrowed brown signs from Mountain Hawks supporters that read "Go Lehigh" to root against their rivals.
This was only the second time in the past 16 years that Duke has lost its first tournament game.
The 13th seeded Ohio bobcats also defeated the 4th seeded Michigan Wolverines 65-60.
