ADAMS, JEFFERSON CO. -- Adams police say a strong marijuana odor led them to an apartment where they seized a large quantity of cocaine.
On Sunday, police executed a search warrant at 6 Institute Street, Apt. 7. They were called to the apartment because neighbors with young children say they smelled marijuana.
Police seized 1.3 kilos of cocaine worth about $130,000 on the street and a small quantity of marijuana.
31-year-old Christopher Wilson, of Brooklyn, 22-year-old Kristin Avallone, of Carthage, and 31-year-old Emmanual Sheppard, of Georgia, are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
They were arraigned in the Town of Watertown Court and sent to the Jefferson County Jail without bail pending grand jury action.
