VERNON -- One of the most popular names is music is coming to Vernon Downs.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at the Vernon Downs Raceway in Vernon on August 29.

The band just announced new dates for its 2012 'Wrecking Ball' World Tour. The tour begins on August 18 in Boston and wraps up September 22 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Tickets go on sale April 28 and will be available on Ticketmaster.com.
