Man stabbed in thigh at Syracuse bar overnight

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating an overnight stabbing.

It happened around 12:05 a.m. at the "Cheers to All" bar at 600 North Geddes Street.

Police say 19-year-old Carlos Flores walked into Upstate University Hospital with stab wounds. He says he was at the bar when he noticed a man he had argued with several days ago. Flores says the man approached him and punched him in the face. After a brief scuffle, Flores noticed he was stabbed in the left thigh. He then drove himself to the hospital. Flores is currently recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
