OVID -- A missing teenager in Ovid has been found safe.

The 17-year-old Amish boy was reported missing Friday night. He was last seen after stopping at a neighbor's home and appeared confused and disoriented at the time.

Police and fire crews searched the area throughout the night and into Saturday. Around 10 a.m., State Police got a call from Seneca County 911 dispatchers, telling them the teen was found inside a vehicle on private property adjacent to County Route 139.

The boy was evaluated by emergency crews and released to his father.
